The belief of
"The finality of prophethood"-- an integral part faith (Imaan)This belief is called
"The finality of
prophethood" and it is a fundamental doctrine of Islaam. The whole Muslim Ummah, from the time of
the Holy
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam to this day, has held this belief as an integral part of
its faith (Imaan). And according to the law of Islaam, a person who thinks that the prophethood
has not been terminated upon the Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and the door of prophethood has not been
sealed and closed, is an apostate, kaafir
and a renegade.
