SUNNATS AT THE TIME OF ENTERING THE MASJID

  1. To remove the left shoe first.
  2. To enter the Masjid with the right foot.
  3. To recite Bismillaah.
  4. To recite Durood Shareef e.g.

Assalaatu wassalaamu 'alaa rasoolillaah sallallahu alayhi wasallam
Allah's Blessings and Peace be upon the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wasallam

  1. To recite the (following) du'aa:

Allaahummnaftah lee abwaaba rahmatika
O Allah! Open the Doors of Your Mercy for me.

  1. To make intention for I'tikaaf.
