The Qadiani Interpretation of theTerm "Khaatamun Nabiyyeen"

The Qadianis claim Mirza Ghulaam Ahmad Qadiani to be a prophet through fabrication and distortion in the definition of the term "Khaatamun Nabiyyeen". They say that:

  1. "Khaatamun Nabiyyeen" means "the best" or "the superior" from the prophets.

  2. The word "Khaatam" in the above quoted verse means a "seal". Thus, the Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam sets a seal on people and with his seal, one becomes a prophet.

  3. The word "Khaatam" means "decoration". Thus, the Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam is like the adornment for the whole congregation of the prophets.

  4. The word "Nabiyyeen" (prophets) means "the law giving prophets". Thus, the Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam was the last of the law-giving (legislative) prophets.
